Handmade by Martha's handmade hair slides

I love to be able to make a hairslide that matches an outfit and that is completely unique!
I try to differ each set of slides that I make and tailor make them to people's requests for colour combo's or to celebrate different occasions... Hair slides to go with specific outfits or something a bit different for school!
I am currently selling my handmade slides at £2.50 for a set of two.
If you would like to order any, please get in touch! If you e mail me then I will get back to you asap!

A new slide for Martha

My Auntie Dot recently went to Spain on holiday and came back with some amazing outfits for the kids. She is so generous!
Martha has worn two of her outfits so far and obviously I had to come up with a matching slide! I particularly like the slide with the wooden heart. It is a new layered design which has had lots of compliments!
Think my new collection will include some bigger, more layered slides... Watch this space!

For Helen's girls...

Erin and Nieve both have fabulous curly hair and their mum Helen ordered them a selection of slides to go with their many fabulous outfits!
Helen found some ribbons that went with some of their outfits so asked would I make them some slides! It was a fab task as the ribbons were great and I bought some extra special buttons to finish them off!
Helen was chuffed with the finished products... What do you think?
My favourites are the navy and white ones at the bottom! :)

Apologies...

Sorry about the long gap in between posts... The last few weeks have been manic! With an Ofsted inspection at work and then a few days away, Handmade by Martha's production line has been rather slow over the past few weeks!
I am hoping to pick up the pace again over the next few weeks working with some of the new ribbons and buttons that have arrived today...
In the meantime, a little montage of photos of Martha from the past couple of weeks! Her latest slide, enjoying time at mini mima (an art class at mima in Middlesbrough where she enjoyed experiencing using marbling inks and playing musical instruments), taking part in the Big Toddle with Grandma , raising money for Barnados, and finally her pout!

Finally!

Having had a hectic couple of weeks, I have finally finished my latest selection of individually designed, handmade slides!
I am about to photograph them and upload the pictures to my Facebook page - www.facebook.com/handmadebymartha2
Please take a look and spread the word!
Proud Moment... This week I have taken Martha to two playgroups where I have seen a few little girls wearing Handmade By Martha slides :) they were on 'strangers' as opposed to friends! I was really chuffed! Thanks for everyone's ongoing support!

And the winner is...!

We finally got to 60 'likers' on the Facebook page at the weekend and i randomly picked a number using a number generator program on the i pad, the lucky winner was Fiona Jenson! She has decided she would have a lovely set of pink slides as she is a proud mummy to two lovely girls! Well done Fiona! And thanks to everyone who 'liked' the page, we got to 78 followers which is amazing!
What with all Jubilee celebrations I haven't really had chance to get busy with my slides.
Yesterday, we thought Martha had chicken pox! (i am sure she doesn't now as she is spot free!) My very kind Dad came and took her big brother, Lucas out, Martha and I had a lazy afternoon watching the telly. Eventually she fell asleep and instead of me doing anything useful (like tidying my house!) i decided to get busy on the slides I promised to show on my Facebook page over a week ago! Oops! I did feel a bit guilty that I was having fun whilst mum and dad were looking after Lucas (they had the joys of trying to get him from underneath the car when he got his head stuck trying to retrieve his ball... That's my boy!)
Anyway, here is a sneak peak of my work in progress... Hoping they will be up for sale on Facebook page at the weekend!
